Anglesea Art Space visitors are invited to add their touch to a paint-by-numbers of the former Anglesea mine site. Imagine you are moving earth with your brush as the paints are largely made from local earths and acacia resin.
The fabric is cotton, biodegradable and the sun will shine through when the earth painting is finished.
My aim is that this experience connects you with the nearby site of the former coal mine – a place that has already given so much.
There is much about the site now to appreciate.
My hope is that this artwork will be the creation of many local spirits so if could please leave your name in the book, and any comments, I would like to credit you if the painting is exhibited in a future exhibition.
