Still Flowers
I have been taking the time to truly appreciate the diversity of flora and fauna in our beautiful environment. Embracing the change of seasons, I smile at the cycle of colours in the flowers from white through pink, yellow, blue and purple.
Inspired by the poetry of Kirli Saunders in her book entitled Kindred, the poems ‘Be Still’ and ‘Wildflower’ particularly resonate with me as I walk. I invite you to take a flower from the basket for yourself or pass it on to brighten someone else’s day.
